Η Ένωση Βουλγάρων Συγγραφέων γιορτάζει 110 χρόνια από την ίδρυσή της. Ο δημιουργικός σύλλογος ιδρύθηκε στις 8 Σεπτεμβρίου 1913. Πρόεδρός του εξελέγη ο Ιβάν Αντρέιτσιν (κριτικός λογοτεχνίας και θεάτρου, ποιητής, μυθιστοριογράφος, θεατρικός συγγραφέας και μεταφραστής) και επίτιμος πρόεδρός του ο πατριάρχης της βουλγαρικής λογοτεχνίας Ιβάν Βάζοφ.
