Διακεκριμένος ιστορικός και συγγραφέας.Από το 1963 άρχισε να εργάζεται ως ερευνητής στο Κέντρο Επιστημονικών Ερευνών, του οποίου υπήρξε ένας από τους πρωτεργάτες. Από το 1982 ανέλαβε ως διευθυντής του Κέντρου, θέση την οποία διατήρησε μέχρι και την αφυπηρέτησή του το 1987. Υπήρξε ιδρυτικό μέλος του Επιστημονικού και Φιλολογικού Συλλόγου Αμμοχώστου (ΕΦΣΑ), του οποίου εξελέγη πρώτος γραμματέας το 1960.
