Κύπριος Φιλόλογος- καθηγητής. Σσπούδασε νεοελληνική φιλολογία στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης (1980-1984), όπου συνέχισε μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές (MA 1989, PhD 1994). Από το 1994 διδάσκει στο Τμήμα Βυζαντινών και Νεοελληνικών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου. Ασχολείται κυρίως με τη μελέτη και κριτική της νεότερης κυπριακής λογοτεχνίας.
