Ο Romesh Chandra (30 Μαρτίου 1919 – 4 Ιουλίου 2016) ήταν ηγέτης του Κομμουνιστικού Κόμματος Ινδίας (CPI). Έλαβε μέρος στον αγώνα για την ανεξαρτησία της Ινδίας ως φοιτητικός ηγέτης του CPI μετά την ένταξή του το 1939. Κατείχε διάφορες θέσεις εντός του κόμματος. Έγινε πρόεδρος του Παγκόσμιου Συμβουλίου Ειρήνης το 1977.
