O Kρεσέντσιο Σαντζίλιο (CRESENTZIO SANGIGLIO) γεννήθηκε στην Θεσσαλονίκη. Τελείωσε κλασικές σπουδές και νομικά. Υπηρέτησε στο Υπουργείο των Εξωτερικών της Ιταλίας. Δημοσίευσε και δημοσιεύει άρθρα και δοκίμια λογοτεχνικής κριτικής και μεταφράσεις ελληνικής ποίησης στα πιο έγκυρα ιταλικά λογοτεχνικά περιοδικά. Έχει μεταφράσει πολλούς Ιταλούς ποιητές στην ελληνική γλώσσα ενώ έχει συνεργαστεί και με ελληνικά λογοτεχνικά περιοδικά.
